Simon Jenje – Founder & Director
Simon Jenje is the founder and director of Hybrid Energy Deployment Systems. With over 15 years of experience in the energy, infrastructure, and construction sectors, Simon has built a reputation as a practical, forward-thinking leader who thrives in complex, remote environments. His career began in hands-on roles across site management and engineering, before progressing into project leadership for large-scale energy and infrastructure developments across Australia and the Pacific Islands.
It was during these years that Simon recognised a growing need for smarter, more sustainable alternatives to diesel-based power generation especially in off-grid and under-serviced communities. This inspired him to create Hybrid Energy Deployment Systems: a business built on integrity, innovation, and a commitment to practical outcomes. Simon remains closely involved in every project, working with clients to ensure that each solution is technically sound, financially sustainable, and tailored to their specific environment. He leads with honesty, precision, and a deep understanding of the industry’s real-world demands.
